Rabat - A new heatwave is expected to hit several regions of Morocco from Monday August 25 to Wednesday August 28, as hot air masses will flow up from the southeast, the national weather service announced in a special bulletin.
Rabat – A new heatwave is expected to hit several regions of Morocco from Monday August 25 to Wednesday August 28, as hot air masses will flow up from the southeast, the national weather service announced in a special bulletin.
The regions concerned by this new heatwave are Zagora, Tata, Assa-Zag and Smara, where temperatures could vary from 44 and up to 47 degrees Celsius.
The heatwave will also affect Errachidia, Taroudante, Guelmim, Marrakech, Rehamna, Kala Seraghna, Fkih Bensaleh, Khouribga, Oued Ed-Dahab, Aousserd and Boujdour.
The mercury in these regions could climb as high as 44 C.
