Rabat – Morocco and Japan expressed, here Monday, their determination to enhance cooperation between economic operators of both countries.
During a meeting between Minister-delegate of Foreign affairs and cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida, and President of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Satoshi Miyamoto, the two parties praised the excellent relations between Morocco and Japan, marked by a strong and regular political dialogue and concrete actions.
This meeting was also an opportunity to highlight the economic attractiveness of the Kingdom as a regional and international platform.
Bouaida presented the process of economic development reforms initiated under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, the different sectoral policies and strategic plans of the Kingdom.
Both sides reiterated their determination to open new prospects for cooperation and take advantage of all the opportunities that could consolidate the ties between Rabat and Tokyo.
Bouaida also reiterated Morocco’s commitment vis-à-vis Africa, building on its position as a bridgehead to the continent.
