Rabat – Minister of Equipment, Transport and Logistics Aziz Rabbah held talks with senior Japanese officials and private sector operators on means of strengthening Moroccan-Japanese cooperation in the areas of infrastructure, transport and logistics.
The minister notably met with Japanese minister delegate for Foreign Affairs, minister of Spatial planning, infrastructure, transport and tourism, minister of Economy, trade and industry and President of the Japanese international Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Rabbah, who led a mixed public-private delegation on a working visit to Tokyo (August 26 to 29), also met with major Japanese private sector operators to examine investment and development opportunities in Morocco in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation, the ministry said in a release.
Moroccan official along with his delegation, who paid side visits to the Tarutoge Fuji tunnel project and the Yokohama Honmoku port, held talks with Japanese experts in the area of road, air, rail and marine transports.
