Casablanca – The choice of Casa Finance City (CFC) to host the Africa50 Fund, which will exclusively benefit African countries, was very wise, said vice president of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in charge of finances Charles Boamah.
The choice of CFC is the result of a process of rigorous competitive consultations which includes nine ADB member states that have all presented very attractive offers, said Boamah in an interview with MAP, highlighting the relevance and consistency of the Moroccan offer.
The choice of CFC was also made based on the attractiveness and strategic positioning of this leading financial center at the African level, as a regional and international financial hub that should play a key role in the continent’s financial integration and economic development.
Morocco’s offer was also supported by its attractive business climate, its political, economic and social stability, as well as its achievements in terms of institutional and structural reforms, deeming that the presence of Africa50 Fund is a huge opportunity for promoting the country’s economic growth.
