New York – Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs, Mbarka Bouaida, said that Morocco’s sectoral strategies and policies, as well as large-scale reforms like the Digital Plan “plan Maroc Numeric,” take account of the human development in order to support social mutations, improve public services and enterprises’ productivity, and develop Information technology.
Speaking at the 2014 New York Economic Forum on Sunday, Bouaida said that the Digital Plan strategy, which was launched by King Mohammed VI, stems from an ambitious approach seeking to ameliorate lifestyle, speed up development, create wealth, and prepare qualified human capital for the far-reaching projects undertaken in Morocco.
Efforts made by Morocco in this area are meant not only to address challenges and boost progress, but also to reinforce the Kingdom’s integration in the global economy and its position among leading IT countries, she said.
Morocco takes a special interest in establishing an ideal climate for technology, in addition to strengthening a robust platform for the benefit of enterprises, young businessmen, universities and technical centers, the official added.
Morocco’s cultural diversity mirrors its openness policy and interaction with the world, she noted, recalling the strategic partnership between Morocco and many countries in the different continents.
