Casablanca – The France-based lighting specialist Lucibel has chosen Morocco as its African platform by opening its first subsidiary in the continent (Lucibel Africa) in Casablanca.
This new African platform of the French company which designs and manufactures light-emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions “is an opportunity to develop its expertise and products in a market favorable to renewable energies and energy efficiency,” CEO of Lucibel Frederick Granotier told journalists during a press conference Monday evening in Casablanca dedicated to the presentation of Lucibel Africa.
The choice of Morocco as an African platform for Lucibel can be explained by positive and encouraging results, he added, noting that Morocco is a strategic platform when targeting North Africa and West Afric, thanks to the country’s quality of road and port infrastructures.
This installation in Morocco will allow Lucibel to improve the quality of service offered to its customers, increase its sales presence in the field and boost its visibility, he added.
Lucibel’s presence in Morocco will not be simply commercial. We intend to rapidly share our LED lighting knowledge and know-how by creating a partnership between Lucibel’s training centre and Moroccan universities, Granotier pointed out.
