Dallas (Texas) – Morocco is indeed a gateway to Africa and King Mohammed VI’s vision for Morocco serving an important role in developing commerce in Africa is very well-founded, said, on Thursday in Dallas, US ambassador to Morocco Dwight L. Bush, Sr.
“The investment environment in Morocco is strong and it improves every day. I think that HM the King has made some very important strategic investments in infrastructure, including roads and telecommunications and encouraged a more transparent business environment,” said the diplomat in a statement to MAP on the sidelines of the US-Morocco Trade and Investment Forum.
He added that highly skilled workforce helps Morocco to be very well positioned and attract foreign investments.
Referring to ties between Rabat and Washington, Dwight L. Bush, Sr. lauded such partnership with Morocco, “a strong bilateral partner.”
This forum is a direct result of the Strategic Dialogue which was launched in 2012 and seeks to encourage investment of the US companies in Morocco, he noted.
