The Moroccan chief diplomat highlighted the two countries’ shared willingness to work together to diversify and further develop bilateral relations, in view of the major regional and development challenges facing the two countries.
Mezouar also noted that he will discuss with his Mauritanian counterpart several regional and international issues, including means of completing the construction the Maghreb Union and strengthening security and stability in the Sahel and Sahara region, stressing the important role of Morocco and Mauritania in this respect.
Morocco’s diplomat will meet Thursday Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdelaziz.
