Marrakech – Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondima praised, here Thursday, Morocco’s economic dynamism, deeming it “exemplary” for Africa.
Speaking at the official opening ceremony of the 5th Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES-2014), President Ondima Bongo highlighted the tireless efforts that Morocco has made to promote the exchange of expertise and know-how with African countries, underlining that Morocco is a model to follow, especially in the field of entrepreneurship.
During this ceremony, the Gabonese President stressed that the themes chosen for the GES-2014 Marrakech are relevant, as they intersect with the ambitions to promote the development of the African continent.
In this context, he called on African companies to show more pragmatism to take up the various challenges.
GES-2014 is bringing together over 3000 entrepreneurs, together with heads of state, high level government officials, global entrepreneurs, small medium enterprises (SMEs), corporate leaders, and young entrepreneurs.
There is also an “Innovation Village” where entrepreneurs and innovators from Africa and around the world can promote their projects and share new ideas on myriad topics including ICT, water management, and alternative energy.
