The source noted that 35 people were saved thanks to air rescue operations led by the Royal Armed Forces and the Royal Gendarmerie as floods continue to ravage areas in the southern regions .
As of November 20, the number of rescued people in the flood-hit areas stood at 545.
Torrential rains that poured in some Moroccan southern regions last week end have caused the death of at least 32 persons, including 24 in the province of Guelmim, who were washed away by floods, while 6 are still reported missing, according to the last toll.
