Marrakech – Trade exchanges between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire tripled between 2009 and 2013, Economy and Finance Minister Mohamed Boussaid said Tuesday.
“Côte d’Ivoire is the eighth supplier and the fifth customer of Morocco,” Boussaid told MAP on the fringes of the signing ceremony of several bilateral cooperation agreements, chaired Tuesday at the Marrakech Royal Palace by King Mohammed VI and Ivorian President, Alassane Dramane Ouattara.
The agreement, regarding mutual administrative assistance in customs matters, was signed by Nialé Kaba, Minister Delegate to the Ivorian Prime Minister for Economics and Finance, and Mohamed Boussaid, Minister of Economy and Finance.
“It provides for promoting partnership and cooperation opportunities between the two countries”, the minister pointed out.
