Abu Dhabi – Morocco is taking part in Dubai’s international food exhibition “Gulfood 2015” held from Feb.08 through 12, with the participation of 4,800 exhibitors.
Held in a 130,000 m2 exhibition space, the exhibition welcomes more than 85,000 professional visitors from over 150 countries.
Covering 336 m2, Morocco’s pavilion seeks to strengthen trade and explore new economic partnership opportunities through its 46 companies specialized in food, hospitality and catering.
Morocco is present in Gulfood for the 5th successive year not only to conquer the UAE market but the entire Gulf and Asian markets, says Morocco export which is sponsoring the Moroccan participation, noting that Gulfood offers the opportunity to meet professional from different food industries.
Exhibiting at such an important event is also an opportunity to highlight a wide range of Moroccan products, including marinated fish, canned fish and vegetables, frozen fruits, olive oil, argan oil, couscous and pasta, juices and beverages, spices, tea and herbal tea, margarine, chocolate and confectionery.
Economic relations between Morocco and the GCC countries have considerably grown in the last ten years as the Kingdom has become an attractive destination for Arab and Gulf investments, especially in real estate and tourism sectors.
