Madrid – Spain’s Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz described his country’s relations with Morocco as “good and very important.”
In a statement to the Press on Tuesday at the Spanish Parliament, Diaz highlighted the importance of these bilateral ties both for Morocco and Spain as well as for the region.
He underscored the “utmost importance” attached to security cooperation between the two countries notably in terms of combating terrorism, drug trafficking and illegal immigration.
In this respect, Diaz pointed out to the considerable human and material resources mobilized by Morocco especially in the fight against Jihadism and illegal immigration.
