Rabat- Morocco renewed its firm and unwavering commitment to supporting the stability, security, unity, and territorial integrity of Mali, during the 5th follow-up meeting of the International Donors’ Conference for the Development of Mali, held on Tuesday in Bamako.
The meeting, attended by representatives of several countries along with international and regional institutions, was an opportunity to assess the mutual commitments taken by the international community and the Malian authorities during the donors’ conference for the development of Mali, which was held in May in Brussels- May 2013.
The 2013 International Donors’ Conference themed: “Together for a new Mali”, had raised 3.25 billion Euros to support Mali’s development efforts.
Morocco spared no effort in supporting Mali. This support was illustrated during the two Royal visits in September 2013 and February 2014.
Co-chaired by Mali, European commission and France, Morocco was represented at the meeting by a delegation including, General Director of bilateral relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nabil Dghoughi, and The Kingdom’s Ambassador in Bamako, Hassan Naciri.
