Berlin – Morocco will take part in the 49th edition of Berlin’s Leading Travel Trade Show (ITB) on March 4-8.
A Moroccan delegation of tourism operators led by Minister for Tourism Lahcen Haddad will represent Morocco in the event, the Ministry of tourism said.
Through this participation, Moroccan tourism operators aim to draw 740,000 more German tourists in 2016, the Ministry said.
According to recent statistics of the Ministry for Tourism, 1.2 million overnight stays of German tourists were registered in Morocco in 2014, up 20% compared to 2013.
ITB Berlin is the foremost business platform for global touristic offers, with an exhibition space of 160,000 square meters.
