Rabat- Head of government Abdelilah Benkirane reaffirmed, on Friday in Abidjan, Morocco’s readiness to share its agriculture expertize with the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and support the training of Ivorian competences in this field.
Speaking at the 3rd edition of the Agriculture and Animal Resources International Fair of Abidjan (SARA-2015), Benkirane said that the Moroccan government will spare no effort to foster the friendship and cooperation ties with Côte d’Ivoire, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI.
A statement by the Head of government’s office said that Benkirane thanked the Ivorian head of state Alassane Ouattara for choosing Morocco as a guest of honor for the 3rd SARA, noting that this choice mirrors the deep friendship between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire and their political will to reinforce their partnership in a strategic sector as agriculture.
Benkirane underlined the two countries’ strong attachment to agriculture and the need to promote a solidarity-based agriculture and support small farmers.
