Senior officials of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) received the US delegation which also includes the Commander of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe and in Africa, General Frank Gorenc.
The annual African Lion military exercise aims at reinforcing bilateral military capabilities and sharing know-how and expertise between the US army and the FAR.
Several observers from African and European countries took part in this year’s military exercise encompasses various activities ranging from shooting, tactical manoeuvres, civilian-military joint actions and peace keeping operations.
As part of joint civilian-military actions medical services were offered to the local population in the regions of Tiznit and Sidi Ifni by medical teams from the Royal Armed Forces and the US army.
