Rabat – A new set of baccalaureate exams was leaked on the internet on Wednesday, causing a wave of protest among students and their parents across the country.
Early this morning, a copy of the mathematics exam was posted on Facebook, which houses a Tasribat (leaks) page especially dedicated to posting photographs of the exam questions and answers.
According to candidates for the Baccalaureate, the subject of the exams that was submitted to them is the same one that leaked on the internet.
Yesterday, several students such as a group of high schoolers in Casablanca denounced the leak of a copy of the sciences and economics portions of the exams on the internet just a few hours before the start of the examinations. Some students even called for a boycott of the tests.
The Ministry of Education had previously assured that the necessary means had been taken to combat cheating. Mobile teams equipped with metal detectors to watch the examination centers and monitor candidates have officially been deployed.
