Rabat- Two police officers in Marrakech have been suspended from duty for accepting benefits in kind during the exercise of their duty.
On Friday, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) decided to temporarily suspend the two Marrakech police department officers and submit their files to the disciplinary board to decide on the administrative wrongdoings alleged against them.
Maghreb Arab Press quoted a source from the DGSN saying that according to the administrative investigation by the Marrakech police, the two police officers accepted benefits in kind while on duty on a public road and failed to respect their responsibilities of obedience and discipline dictated by their status as staff of the DGNS.
