Rabat – Morocco on Friday condemned “in the strongest terms” the “despicable” terrorist attack that targeted a mosque in the capital of Kuwait, killing and injuring scores of people.
“Following the criminal terrorist attack that targeted Friday one of the mosques in the Essawaber region in Kuwait, killing several innocent victims, the Kingdom of Morocco condemns in the strongest terms this despicable terrorist, which is act contrary to the precepts of our noble Islamic religion and all moral and universal values, an act that seeks to undermine the security and stability of this brotherly Arab country”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation said in a statement.
Presenting its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Kuwait, Morocco reaffirms “its continued commitment to the brotherly State of Kuwait in its efforts to fight terrorism and preserve its security and stability”, the ministry added.
