San Diego couple married since 1940 dies in each other’s arms on their bed after 75 years of mutual love.
Jeanette and Alexander Toczko’s wish was to die in each other’s arms, and they managed to fulfill their wish.
According to their son, Richard, “They were boyfriend and girlfriend when they were 8 years old.”
Their daughter, Aimee Toczko-Cushman, said that after her father died, Jeanette said, “Wait for me, I’ll be there soon.”
The couple was buried Monday at Miramar National Cemetery.
