Rabat – Few young footballers can compete against the king of freestyle football, Sean Garnier. But in a live street freestyle challenge, Morocco’s 17-year old Hachim Mastour did.
AC Milan’s wonderkid produced countless magic moves as he faced Sean Garnier who makes a living out of being a freestyler.
In a video posted by RedBull on Youtube, Hachim Mastour battles out the 31-year old Sean Garnier near famous local landmarks in Milano, including the Duomo di Milano and the San Siro.
The challenge was organized by the Italian legend Marco Materazzi in two categories: Freestyle and Hitting Targets.
The Moroccan attacking midfielder stayed focused and was not fazed by Sean Garnier’s wealth of freestyle experience.
The duo showcased their best tricks and flicks which made passersby stop and applaud.
This is not Mastour’s first freestyle battle. Two years ago, Hachim Mastour took on Barcelona’s Brazilian star Nymar, in a freestyle game.
Though Mastour was only 15-years old back then, the skills he possessed with a ball at his feet made the headlines worldwide.
In fact, Neymar looked as though he was struggling to keep up with theMoroccan wonderkid.
Hicham Mastour who made his Moroccan debut with the national team on June 12 is regarded as one of the most promising stars in the world of football.
He has been on the radar of many big teams in Europe. AC Milan expressed its intention to let him go for around €5 million.
Earlier this month, reports said the French giant Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) was interested in signing the Moroccan prodigy, adding that AC Milan is waiting for a serious offer from PSG.
Real Madrid is also reportedly interested in Mastour, who is under contract with AC Milan until 2017.
