Rabat - Marouane El Hamdouni, a Moroccan motorcycle rider, began a month-long journey Saturday that will take him from Italy to Morocco across several European countries, all for the sake of helping Moroccan children in rural areas.
Rabat – Marouane El Hamdouni, a Moroccan motorcycle rider, began a month-long journey Saturday that will take him from Italy to Morocco across several European countries, all for the sake of helping Moroccan children in rural areas.
Called “Make Them Smile”, his journey will take him through Europe and on to Morocco via Italy, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal.
The journey kicked off on July 25 in Rome, and will finish on August 25. During this period, he will be raising funds for school children in rural areas of Morocco and getting them resources they will need for their education.
On the way,Marouaune will be linking up with Moroccan embassies, a number of riding groups across Europe, Touratech, and many of his friends in the motorcycle world.
The Make Them Smile journey is sponsored by Mob Shop, the Moroccan distributor for the French brand Kenny. The companysupplied him with riding gear for his trip.
