Rabat – Munir El Haddadi has been promoted to the first team of FC Barcelona.
The Barcelona player of Moroccan origin has enjoyed a meteoric rise and has forced his way through the club’s youth academy into the Barcelona first team, Europe’s crowned champions.
El Haddadi attended the XXXVI World Congress of Penyas (fan club) during which Barcelona presented the new additions to the team.
In addition to new signings Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal, Sandro Ramirez from La Masia has also been promoted to the senior team.
El Haddadi’s spectacular performance with the A and B teams seems to have convinced Barcelona coach Luis Enrique that the 19-year-old is now ready to join the first team alongside the likes of Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Brazil international Neymar.
Born and raised in Spain, Munir made headlines last year thanks to his brilliant performance with star-studded Barcelona.
