In a communiqué published on Thursday, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) said that the number of flights to North American destinations (the United States and Canada) has increased by 16% during the month of July, compared to the same period of last year.
The company has transported 36,201 passengers on both lines connecting Casablanca to Montreal and New York. 143 flights secured these connections with an occupancy rate of 76%.
“The flights connecting the economic capital of the kingdom and Montreal recorded a considerable increase,” the statement said.
About 19,500 passengers used flights of the national airline to fly from Casablanca to Montreal in Canada during July, up 34% compared to the same period last year.
The company is now operating two flights a day connecting Casablanca and New York. A Boeing 787 Dreamliner is used for these flights.
