Rabat – France’s former president Jacques Chirac is enjoying Agadir, Morocco’s holiday hotspot, French media reported.
A report by the French daily news website Le Parisien said on Thursday that Chirac, 82, has chosen Agadir to spend his summer holiday.
The former president, accompanied by his wife Bernadette, are staying at a luxurious residence with a view on the beach, located not far from the military hospital of Agadir.
The fancy residence was offered to him by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, according to Le Paresien.
The French people website Pure People quoted a close source to Chirac saying that Agadir has become a favorite holiday spot for Chirac.
“The climate suits him well. It is hot but there is always a small pleasant wind which blows from the Atlantic,” the source added.
