Rabat – On Sunday, Morocco international Hachim Mastour was hard at work in training with his new teammates at FC Malaga.
The versatile midfielder took part in the warm up along with his new teammates before working individually as part of the Anadalusian team’s preparations.
The 17-year-old took part in his first training with FC Malaga following his return from Italy to which he travelled to solve bureaucratic issues and to fully prepare his move to Malaga.
According to eldesmarque, In addition to his growth and adaptation with the team, the other major concern of Malaga is to obtain authorization from FIFA to play Mastour.
FIFA imposes strict controls on international transactions of underage players.
Under Article 19 of FIFA’s International Transfer Regulations, athletes’ transfers are only permitted if the player is over the age of 18.
The same source said that while there are voices within the club who fear that FIFA’s authorization might take several months, others, however, are more optimistic that the former Milanista can be ready for action within a month.
Mastour moved to the Malaga last week before the close of the summer transfer window.
The former Real Madrid’s target loan provides the right of purchase for Malaga for EUR 5 million and the right to re-purchase in favour of Milan.
