New York – A YouTube video that mocks Chelsea manager José Mourinho and his situation at the Premier League club is going viral on social media.
In less than 3 days, the parody has gone viral garnering nearly 400,000 views. It is also widely-commented as one of the best animated football cartoons on the web.
The video titled “José Mourinho’s 7 Minute Rant!” was published by 442oons, an English YouTube channel that creates cartoons and animated parodies about the Premier League.
Following the controversial press conference in which the Portuguese coach blamed others for the poor results of the ‘Blues’ and self-proclaimed himself as the “best manager the club has ever had”, the parody takes a shot at mocking Mourinho’s words.
442oons depict José Mourinho as a singer blaming everyone else that he could think of for Chelsea’s misfortune- Eva Carneiro, Iva, referees, the FA, Diego Costa, Terry, even the M.I.A. – everybody but himself.
The parody takes a twist when a displeased Roman Abramovich appears telling the coach to stop blaming everyone else.
Mourinho tells him: “If you sack me you sack the best manager you’ve had.”
An astute Abramovich answers him: “But what if my next appointment is the best manager we’ll ever have?”
Suddenly, Arsenal’s Arsène Wenger shows up wearing the ‘Blues’ uniform. Mourinho loses his cool and says, “Roman, no! I beg you! Not the ‘specialist in failure”.
The Russian does not hold back and lashes out at the Portuguese reminding him the club’s Premier League status: “We’ve played 8 and lost 4. You’re a ‘specialist in failure”.
A defeated Mourinho watches as his real life sports enemy takes his coaching job with Chelsea.
