Rabat – A Dutch non-profit organization and a travel agency are organizing a trip to Morocco to educate tourists on Moroccan history and also explore ways to alleviate poverty in the country’s remote areas.
Wish2Care, a Dutch non-profit organization, has partnered with ByRocco, a Dutch travel company, to organize a guided tour trip that combines pleasure and charity.
According to their mission, Wish2Care focuses on “support and care of the necessities of needy fellowmen.”
The organization addresses five areas: poverty reduction, education, sports and culture, medical care, and development.
ByRocco specializes in travel throughout Morocco with numerous connections to accommodations and excursions within the Kingdom. It was specifically created for tourists to have access to all the hidden treasures of Marrakesh.
Through their partnership, the trip will explore diverse locations within the Kingdom, allowing a tourist experience, while also educating participants on the poverty in those areas and study ways to alleviate it.
Ten to fifteen people will go on the 10-day trip and enjoy activities ranging from exploring the Atlas Mountains to visiting orphanages.
The trip will be an extraordinary occasion since it is not for profit; all money goes to travel logistics or becomes a charitable donation.
“The Wish2Care and ByRocco trip will be an educational and beautiful vacation to experience the real Morocco,” the organizers told Morocco World News.
