Rabat – Marrakesh will host the eighth African Forum of Infrastructure from October 22 to 24. This annual event will bring together over 300 regional decision makers in the infrastructure sector from West, Central, and North Africa.
According to the organizers, the event will be attended by representatives of regional governments, under-guardianship agencies, builders, contractors, construction material suppliers, and advisors.
The three-day forum will be dedicated to major issues related to infrastructure development, including roads, ports, and airports.
Organized by I-conferences, the Forum returns in Marrakesh under the leadership of the Moroccan Ministry of Equipment, Transportation, and Logistics. The event promises to offer real opportunities for exchange among Francophone African countries.
Previous Forums were held in several African countries, including Morocco, Senegal, and the Ivory Coast. The return of the Forum to Marrakesh reaffirms Moroccan expertise in infrastructure development.
Despite remarkable advances, transportation infrastructure still represents a major obstacle to economic momentum in the 21st century.
