It will be themed “North Africa and Continental Free Trade Agreements,” according to the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).
Held by the ECA and the World Trade Organization (WTO) Chair at Mohammed V University, this international meeting aims to encourage the acceleration of trade transactions between the countries of North Africa, but also between North Africa and the rest of the continent.
The Forum’s agenda includes an international seminar entitled, “20 years of the WTO: The Integration of Africa and Mega-Regional Trade Agreements.”
At this meeting, African and Mediterranean researchers will exchange their experiences and knowledge on free trade agreements and the potential for an African continental free trade area.
