New Delhi – Around fifty leading Moroccan groups and SMEs are taking part in the 3rd summit of India-Africa forum 2015, held in New Delhi on Oct. 26-29 under the theme “Partners in Progress: Towards a Dynamic and Transformative Development Agenda.”
The Moroccan economic delegation is made up of groups and SMEs representing the sectors of ICT, infrastructure (electricity, solar power, water, purification, building), banking, engineering and counseling, logistics, food processing, textile and training, said on Tuesday a statement by Morocco’s exportation office “Maroc-Export”, adding that the chosen sectors are complementary for the development of a Morocco-India-Africa tripartite partnership.
The Moroccan delegation, the largest African one attending the event, will benefit from a B to B program and on-site visits with the main African and Indian economic operators. It will also participate in the “Focus Africa” seminar organized by the EXIM BANK, the leading export finance institution in India.
At the institutional level, “Maroc export” and Moroccan employers’ association “CGEM” held working meetings on the potential of economic partnership between Morocco and India with major Indian partners as EXIM BANK, NASSCOM and the Associated Chambers of Commerce of India.
Several agreements between Moroccan and Indian economic operators will be signed on the sidelines of the summit of India-Africa forum.
