Brussels – Spanish Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz described, on Friday, as “excellent” the cooperation between his country and Morocco in the security field.
“Cooperation with Morocco in the security field is excellent. It should serve as a model for all European countries,” said the minister in a statement to media outlets on the sidelines of his participation in Brussels in an extraordinary meeting of EU’s justice and interior ministers following Paris attacks.
During this meeting, the council of justice and domestic affairs decided to reinforce control at the EU’s borders and review the Schengen system.
The ministers also called for strengthening the sharing of information between European countries and coordinating actions to avoid security threats and terrorist acts targeting Europe.
