New York – 12 people were killed and at least 20 have been shot in a terrorist attack near a Planned Parenthood clinic in San Bernardino, California.
According to eyewitnesses near the scene, three unidentified men dressed in U.S. military-type uniforms and possible “body armor” were seen at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino. The men were reportedly armed with several weapons.
Local authorities said 12 people were killed in the massive shooting, which occurred near 1300 South Waterman Avenue, near Orange Show Road.
The attack has left up to 20 victims with injuries, according to the police. Sergeant Vicki Cervantes, spokeswoman for San Bernardino Police Department aid they are searching for the “active shooters”.
Although the shooting occurred near a Planned Parenthood clinic, employees are not relating the incident as a hate crime targeting the clinic.
The shooting allegedly occurred around 11:00 a.m. local time when emergency personnel were called on to the scene. Cervantes said the scene is “very active” and “very fluid” at the moment.
The Inland Regional Center provides services for the disabled and those in need.

According to the FBI, terrorism is the use of violence or intimidation that involves acts that are dangerous to human life and violates federal or state law by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping.
