Princess Lalla Meryem chaired on Saturday evening at the congress hall in Marrakech a dinner hosted by King Mohammed VI for guests of the 15th international film festival of Marrakech.
Held under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, the festival opened on Friday evening with a tribute to US actor Bill Murray.
After honoring in its 2014 editions Adel Imam, Jeremy Irons, Viggo Mortensen, Khadija Alami and Zakaria Alaoui, the festival will pay tribute this year to other cinema stars, namely US comedia Willem Dafoe, Korean director Park Chan-Wook, Indian star Madhuri Dixit and Moroccan photo director Kamal Derkaoui.
A total of 93 movies will be screened during the festival which also features side events like the official contest, Cinecole (short film contest), favorite, out of contest, masterclasses, outdoors screening in Jamaa El Fna square, audio description.
