San Fransisco – Donald Trump, the fascist billionaire running to become the second stupid American president, made headlines by calling Mexicans rapists and a billion Chinese people “Motherf*ckers.”
He has realized that he will not be able to sustain his lead in the polls by solely going after 1.357 billion Chinese or the 122.3 million Mexicans. He needed a bigger target that will help him win the Republican nomination. His new targets are the 1.6 billion Muslims, which obviously include Muslim Americans. He accused them of celebrating the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Let’s be honest with ourselves: Fascist Trump would not be in this position if not for the millions of Americans who fully support him regardless of the lies and the bigotry that he embraces.
Sadly, anti-Muslim bigotry has become the norm in America, if not encouraged, and Trump is fully aware that he needs to capitalize on this sentiment in order for him to sustain his lead in the polls. He knows that relentlessly hammering anti-Islamic rhetoric will only be beneficial to his campaign, scoring points with those who hate China but do not mind shopping at Walmart which is well known for selling cheap Chinese-made products. These are the same people who often ask, “Why do they (Muslims) hate us?” They foolishly expect love and affection from the Muslims, while at the same exhibiting nothing but hate and animosity towards them. These are the same people who support this fascist who wants American Muslims registered in a database and their every move tracked, the same way Nazi Germany registered Jews before ultimately sending them to the gas chambers.
America should not fear ISIS or Al Qaeda. This country can defend itself from any terrorist group. America should instead fear obscurantism, bigotry, and point-blank stupidity similar to that exhibited by Trump and his supporters. They believe that they are standing for America. Do they know that they are destroying what America stands for, which is Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness, and that is what makes America strong?
America should not fear three-year-old Syrian orphans and their helpless mothers whose only sin is fleeing their war-torn country — a war, incidentally, caused by a Republican president.
To Fascist Trump and his followers, I like to refer them to former Republican Secretary of State Colin Powell, who said the following during one of his interviews:
Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country?” The answer is “No. That’s not America.” Is there something wrong with some 7-year old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she can be president?Yet I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion he’s a Muslim and he might be associated with terrorists. This is not the way we should be doing it in America.I feel strongly about this particular point because of a picture I saw in a magazine. It was a photo-essay about troops who were serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. And one picture at the tail end of this photo essay was of a mother in Arlington Cemetery and she had her head on the headstone of her son’s grave. And as the picture focused in you can see the writing on the headstone. And it gave his awards, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, showed that he died in Iraq, gave his date of birth, date of death. He was 20 years old. And then at the very top of the headstone, it didn’t have a Christian cross, it didn’t have a Star of David.It had a crescent and a star of the Islamic faith. And his name was Karim Rashad Sultan Khan. And he was an American, he was born in New Jersey, he was 14 at the time of 9/11 and he waited until he could go serve his country and he gave his life.
I don’t think those who think like Fascist Trump will feel ashamed reading Secretary Powell’s remarks. Their hate for Muslims today is too strong for them to realize that America is for Americans regardless of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, or sexual orientation. Their hate for Muslims is so strong that they believe that Fascist Trump actually witnessed people jumping from the World Trade Center towers on 9/11 from his residence four miles away.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt authorized the deportation and incarceration of thousands of Japanese Americans during World War II. An investigation ordered by Jimmy Carter in 1980 found no evidence of Japanese disloyalty at the time and concluded the incarceration had been the product of racism. What President Roosevelt did at the time was horrible and stupid, and now Fascist Trump wants to Make America Stupid again to fulfill his selfish wish to become President of this great country that many of us Muslims call home.
