Rabat – British giants Manchester City will travel to Morocco in 2016 in order to play Wydad of Casablanca in a friendly.
Said Naciri, the current president of Wydad announced on Tuesday that a friendly match between his club and Manchester City has been arranged for next year.
Said Naciri said he has recently met with Sheikh Mansour, owner of Man City in Emirates and concluded the agreement.
Naciri said the game is to take place in Casablanca. However, he said the date of the friendly is still being discussed with his Emirati counterparts.
Wydad of Casablanca has made a fantastic start to the season. The Casablanca giants remained unbeaten in their first eight Botola games, until they lost for the first time 10 days ago against Fath of Rabat (FUS).
