Rabat - Morocco’s Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane reportedly will introduce a new decree governing the pensions and compensation of Members of the Moroccan Parliament (MPs) and Moroccan government Ministers.According to an article published in Arabic news outlet “Alyaoum 24,” Benkirane has submitted a proposition to the General Secretariat to amend the current decree regulating the controversial pensions. The new decree will constitute a radical break from the Royal Decree (Daheer) of 1975, that originally determined  MPs’ and Ministers’ pensions and compensation.
