Brussels – A crisis cell was set up at the Moroccan embassy and consulate general in Brussels to closely follow the situation and get information about the existence of Moroccan nationals among the victims of the attacks perpetrated Tuesday in the Belgian capital. “
As part of the situation’s follow-up after the terrorist attack that targeted on Tuesday the Brussels’ international airport and some subway stations, a crisis cell was set up at the Moroccan embassy and consulate general in Brussels in order to work with the Belgian authorities and closely follow the situation,” said the embassy in a statement.
The Moroccan diplomatic representation said that contacts are under way, in coordination with the competent Belgian authorities to get informed, through field visit to hospitals, about the possible existence of dead or wounded Moroccan nationals among the victims, it added.
