Rabat – Minister delegate for foreign affairs Mbarka Bouaida met, on Thursday in Rabat, with a delegation from Italian Five Star Movement on the Moroccan-Italian relations and the question of the Sahara.
In a statement to MAP after the meeting, Bouaida said that the “talks were an occasion to discuss the Moroccan-Italian relations and give details to the delegation concerning the latest developments of the national issue.”
The Italian delegation lauded Morocco’s stability and security and commended its exemplary and positive role in the region, she said.
The Italian party voiced its readiness to establish a deep cooperation with Morocco, she added.
In a similar statement, movement member Stefano Buffagni said that Morocco is a friendly country and “we believe that it is fundamental for our political forces to establish good relations in order to lay the bases for a fruitful cooperation for the benefit of the two peoples.
