The reserves recorded a 0.7 percent weekly decrease, the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators. During the week of April 7-13, 2016, the central bank injected MAD 9 billion.
Over the course of this period, the interbank rate fell to 2.20 percent, while the average daily exchanged volume rose to MAD 2 billion.
During the same period, the dirham appreciated by 0.17 percent against the euro and depreciated by 0.28 percent against the dollar.
