Rabat – Morocco and Burkina Faso signed, on Wednesday in Rabat, a cooperation agreement in the field of sport and youth to reinforce collaboration and the sharing of expertize and know-how.
Inked by youth and sports minister Lahcen Sekkouri and Burkina Faso’s counterpart Tairou Bangré, this agreement, which will span 4 years (2016-2019), touches on exchanging teams and training sports executives, in addition to sports medicine, planning and equipment.
Under the agreement, the two parties will exchange scientific and pedagogical documents and organize training trips. They will also share experiences related to the management of sports facilities. Speaking on this occasion, Sekkouri noted that the agreement will revive bilateral cooperation in the different disciplines as mass sports and high-level sports.
Bangré highlighted the solid assets of Morocco in terms of sports and youth, and hoped that this agreement will meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
