Dakar – The Conference “Towards more Prosperity and Security in the Southern Atlantic”, organized by OCP Policy Center and the German Marshall Fund of the United States, is taking place in Dakar (April 25-27).
Organized in partnership with the “Institut Panafricain de Stratégies” and the Institute Fernando Henrique Cardo, the Atlantic Strategy Group conference focuses on economy, trade, security, governance and human development in the Southern Atlantic, the OCP Policy Center said in a press release.
The three-day event sees the participation of experts, leading policy makers, academics, businessmen, and other specialists from Africa, Morocco, Brazil, the United States, and Europe.
Morocco is represented in the conference by Youssef Amrani, Chargé de Mission at the Royal Office, who highlighted on Tuesday the high strategic significance of HM king Mohammed VI’s speech before Morocco-GCC summit.
