Dakar - The International Conference on Al Quds Al-Sharif, initiated by the Committee of the United Nations on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), opened on Tuesday in Dakar, in the presence of representatives of several countries including Morocco.
Dakar – The International Conference on Al Quds Al-Sharif, initiated by the Committee of the United Nations on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), opened on Tuesday in Dakar, in the presence of representatives of several countries including Morocco.
Morocco is represented in this meeting, themed “Al Quds at the heart of a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue”, by a delegation led by Morocco’s ambassador to Senegal Taleb Barrada.
Among figures taking part in this event are Senegalese foreign minister Mankeur Ndiyae, UNSG special representative for West Africa and the Sahel Mohammed Ibn Chambas, and other UN agencies’ representatives.
During this conference, international, African and Palestinian speakers will tackle the current situation of the occupied eastern Al Quds and identify means to boost international support to ensure holy city’s protection and development.
