According to the official Emirati news agency, the Crown Prince arrived along with his mother, Princess Lalla Salma, to the Presidential Airport in the capital Abu Dhabi to celebrate his 13th birthday.
The same source said that some members of the royal family also arrived in Abu Dhabi to share the celebration with Morocco’s crown prince, the youngest crown prince in the world, according to Arab media.
A video clip posted by the official Emirati news agency shows the moment the Crown Prince was received, accompanied by his mother, Princess Lalla Salma, his sister Princess Lalla Khadija and the Moroccan Ambassador to the UAE.
Princess Lalla Salma flew to Abu Dhabi to attend her son’s birthday after she and Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned chaired on Friday in Fez the opening ceremony of the 22nd Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, held under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI.
Last year, the festivities of the Crown Prince’s birthday took place in the royal palace in Salé, Rabat’s twin city.
