Madrid - King Felipe VI of Spain granted, on Monday at Madrid Zarzuela Palace, an audience to Moroccan Minister of Energy, Mining, Water and Environment Abdelkader Amara. The minister, who is on a two-day working visit to Spain, was accompanied by Director General of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) Ali Fassi Fihri.

The minister, who is on a two-day working visit to Spain, was accompanied by Director General of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) Ali Fassi Fihri.
The audience was attended by Spanish Secretary of State for Trade Jaime García-Legaz Ponce, Morocco’s ambassador to Spain Mohamed Fadel Benyaich and Spanish ambassador in Rabat Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner.
Amara started on Monday a working visit to Madrid along with a delegation consisting of officials from the Energy Ministry and the said Office.
During this visit, the minister will give a conference on Morocco’s energy transition. The Minister will also hold talks with Spanish officials including Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Secretary of State for Energy.
