Rabat – Dwight L. Bush, U.S. Ambassador to Morocco hosted “Chef Omar”, a Moroccan child with special needs. Omar is a household name in Morocco.
Chef Omar has fifty thousands internet users follow him on his Facebook page for his simple way of preparing popular dishes.
Mr.Bush and Omar prepared “Rfissa” a popular Moroccan dish served with chicken, lentils, fenugreek seeds (helba in Arabic), msemmen, meloui or day-old bread, and the blend of Ras el hanout.
The US ambassador stressed after the preparation of the food that “If there is something takes us apart, a good food always brings us together.”
