Rabat – The three-day festival, which will begin on July 15, has a star-studded lineup, including Kadim Al Sahir, Latifa Raâfat, Maître Gims, Najat Aâtabou, Ahmed Chaouki, to name a few. The theme of the event this year is “Convergence.
The festival is organized by the Forum of Ifrane in order to encourage culture and development in the region. The organizers said that it will “contribute to the opening of the different cultures.
In addition to the musicians, three competitors from Morocco’s Master Chef Celebrity will be making food at the festival. The organizers say that the presence of Chef Mouha, Meriem Tahiri and Chef Rachid will “prepare tasty dishes and animate this event.
Cultural events such as this festival are a part of regional and national programs to invigorate culture in Morocco. The Ministry of Tourism hopes that this will help to increase global interest in Morocco, but this cultural recognition and encouragement will provide spaces for performers and artists and connect the Moroccan people to their rich history and culture.
Other projects in this effort include the Institute of Fine Arts in Fez, restoration of historic medinas and landmarks, and cultural festivals and performances around the country.
