London – Morocco is among secure destinations for British tourists, according to a card issued by British daily The Independent following Turkey terrorist attacks.
In this card, Morocco is located in the green zone which means a secure destination for British travelers, like Europe and the USA.
In 2015, despite a difficult juncture, nearly 660,000 British tourists visited Morocco against 490,000 in 2012, that is an increase of 34%.
To back this trend, the Moroccan tourism office (ONMT) set up a communication campaign seeking to ensure a regular presence on the British market. It also made good PR actions by inviting prestigious news outlets to make media coverage and features on Morocco.
