Rabat – King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to French President, François Hollande, on the occasion of the National Day of his country.
In this message, the King expresses His heartfelt congratulations and sincere wishes for health and happiness to the French President, and His most ardent wishes of progress and prosperity to the friendly French people.
The Sovereign takes this opportunity to praise the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and France, which achieves, every day, important advances and reaps new benefits.
“Resolutely turned towards the future, this partnership draws its strength from the depth of our shared history and the strength of relationships forged by our two peoples,” the Sovereign says in the message.
“The many high-level meetings, held during the past year by our senior officials, as well as the constant and fruitful dialogue between our two countries on international and regional issues of common interest, reflect this singular momentum,” the King adds.
He noted that this is also part of the Moroccan-French close cooperation for the preparation of the UN Conference on climate change (COP22), to be held next November in Marrakech.
In this spirit, the King reiterates to French President his firm determination to carry on joint action to move forward in the consolidation of the strategic partnership of exception to achieve the aspirations of the two friendly peoples and further strengthen the contribution of both countries to promote peace, security and stability in the world.
